Paul’s expertise has been gained from extensive international positions. These included running the global sponsor and acquisition finance platform for Mizuho Bank with teams in London, New York, Hong Kong & Sydney. 

Paul has worked as Chief Investment Officer of the bank's third party fund management business Mizuho Investment Management Ltd, responsible for managing private debt and private equity related funds and vehicles. 

He was a member of Mizuho's Senior Management Regime staff in the UK and established and chaired the bank's diversity committee. Paul graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a BA in Economics and Geography.
